A human resources professional with more than 30 years of work experience and an alumna of the University, Aileen Beisser began her career with Rutgers Athletics in 1995.
Beisser earned a bachelor’s degree from the University in 1995, where she majored in Sport Management while competing as a four-year letterwinner for the Scarlet Knights’ women’s lacrosse team.
In her current role as Assistant Athletic Director for Human Resources, where she has served since 2013, Beisser supports the coordination of the human resource programs and payroll functions for the entire athletic department, which encompasses more than 300 full-time employees.
Prior to her elevation to human resources, Beisser served as a travel coordinator for the athletic department from 2012-13.
Following her initial seven-year tenure at Rutgers (1995-2002), Beisser spent a decade as the owner and operator of a successful fitness business, gaining valuable experience in business management, customer service and organizational leadership before returning to her alma mater in 2012.
In her first stint at Rutgers, Beisser served as Director of Facilities and events with RU Athletics from 2000-02. Beisser got her start in collegiate athletics with the University as an Assistant Director of Operations and Olympic sports from 1995-2000.
All told, she has served Rutgers Athletics for more than 22 years.
Beisser resides in Piscataway with her husband, John, and daughter, Riley.
