Alex Falk joined the R Fund in the fall of 2024 as the department's Director of Marketing and Communications. He joined the Scarlet Knights after spending over a decade in athletic communications, content, marketing and game operations for various other NCAA institutions.

In his current role, Falk supervises all marketing and communications efforts for the Rutgers Athletic Development office. This includes managing rfund.scarletknights.com and the R Fund social media accounts, overseeing email communications, developing digital, video and printed marketing materials, supporting the major gift and premium and corporate verticals, working cohesively with counterpart communications and marketing departments in athletics, Rutgers University Foundation, the University itself and more.

Previously, Falk was led the athletic communications department at New Jersey City University from 2021-24, most recently as the Assistant Athletic Director for Communications and Marketing. Prior to that, he was the Director of Athletic Communications at Manhattanville College from 2018-21. Falk also spent two years working in public relations and marketing for Endeavor Sports and Entertainment. From 2013-16, he was the Assistant Sports Information Director at New York University and got his start in college athletics at the University of Pennsylvania.

Falk earned his master's in global sports media from NYU and completed his undergraduate studies in media management at Drexel University.
