Amanda Harper joined the Rutgers Athletics Department in 2022 and currently serves as an athletic trainer, overseeing the medical care for the Scarlet Knights women's swimming & diving and tennis programs.
Prior to Rutgers, Harper spent a season as a fellow athletic trainer at the U.S. Naval Academy, overseeing the womenâs basketball and menâs lightweight rowing programs.
Harper earned a Masterâs Degree in Business Administration from Wagner, during which she served as a graduate assistant athletic trainer for the menâs lacrosse, womenâs soccer and softball programs.
Earning a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training with a Minor in Health Studies from Williams Patterson University, Harper worked as an athletic training intern for two local professional sports franchises. She worked with the New York Giants during the 2018 NFL season and the New York City Football Club during the 2019 MLS season.
