Dr. Andrew Billups, Psy.D., is a Senior Sport Psychologist for Rutgers University Athletics.
Dr Billups earned his doctorate in psychology from Rutgers University’s Graduate School of Applied and Professional Psychology (GSAPP) and is a licensed psychologist in New Jersey and New York, a New Jersey-certified school psychologist, and a Certified Mental Performance Consultant (CMPC) through the Association for Applied Sport Psychology (AASP).
Dr. Billups' clinical and consulting work focuses on evidence-based interventions to support mental health, well-being, and performance. He specializes in working with student-athletes and individuals navigating challenges related to anxiety, emotional regulation, performance pressure, and personal development and is committed to integrating culturally responsive approaches into his clinical and performance work, helping individuals build the psychological skills necessary to thrive both in and outside of sport.
