Angela Harto works in the Rutgers’ Athletics Sports Medicine department as an Administrative Assistant and Office Manager. She has worked in the Sports Medicine department since 2003.

In her current role, she helps to manage and expedite the work flow of the Sports Medicine department by maintaining records and budgets and organizing medical insurance and personal files on all student athletes. Harto assists with insurance authorizations, processes purchase orders and provides clerical support to sports medicine consultants.

Prior to joining the Rutgers Athletic Department, Harto worked as an office manager for Milltown Podiatry – Joel Kates PDM for 16 years from 1987 to 2003. In that position she managed patient accounts, appointments, insurance claims and payments, financial information and office inventory. She was also in charge of ICD-9-CM coding and as internal audits of patient registration and billing.

Born in London, Harto is a graduate of Spotswood High School in Spotswood, N.J. She is currently married with two children and two grandchildren, and resides in East Brunswick, N.J.
