Anthony Steenvoorden has worked as an accounting assistant with Rutgers Athletics since 2018. In his current role, Steenvoorden handles purchase requests for apparel, equipment and other needs for the Scarlet Knights’ 24 varsity programs.
Prior to his arrival “On the Banks”, Steenvoorden was an equipment intern with the New York Jets from 2015-16. There, he helped the head and assistant equipment managers during the organizations' training camps, which included setup and break down of practices.
A native of East Brunswick, New Jersey, Steenvoorden earned his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of South Carolina in 2017. Steenvoorden served as student manager with the Gamecocks’ baseball program as an undergraduate.
Steenvoorden was also the batboy for the Somerset Patriots of the Atlantic League from 2012-14.
