A two-time Rutgers graduate, Zoffinger joined Rutgers Athletics in 1995 and serves as the head coach of the Scarlet Knights’ nationally recognized spirit program.
Zoffinger was named head coach of the program in 1998, helping RU’s dance team to its first ever National Championship that year. Under her leadership, Rutgers’ sprit program has grown to include co-ed cheer, dance and the University’s mascots. In her current role, Zoffinger also plays an integral role on game day, collaborating with Rutgers Athletics marketing and fan experience departments for football and basketball.
Beyond Rutgers, Zoffinger has served as the head coach of the U.S. National Pop Team at the ICU World Championships, helping Team USA to a gold medal in 2018 and a silver medal in 2019.
Zoffinger graduated from Rutgers with her bachelor’s and master’s degrees. She resides in New Jersey with her husband and two sons. As an undergraduate, Zoffinger was a member of the school’s first dance team invited to the prestigious UCA & UDA College Nationals in 1993. Zoffinger served as a team captain and helped Rutgers to a top 10 finish in the country as a senior in 1994.
