Chris Keri has served as a director of operations with the Marching Scarlet Knights since 2013. An alumnus of the Rutgers band, Keri helps to recruit new members, plan band camp, place orders and run other logistical operations for the program.
In addition to his current duties, Keri has also operated as the voice of the Marching Scarlet Knights since 2016, announcing the band on and off the field for every performance.
Outside of the band, Keri is the principal at Kingwood Township School in Frenchtown, New Jersey, where he began in 2024.
Keri earned his bachelor's degree in psychology in 2013 and his master’s degree in special education in 2014 from Rutgers. Keri is also a certified teacher of Orton-Gillingham.
Keri and his wife, Leigh, reside in High Bridge, New Jersey, with their two sons, CJ and Lucas.
