Dr. Jason Womack has served as a Team Physician at Rutgers University since 2010. He graduated from Rutgers University and attended medical school at Rutgers - Robert Wood Johnson Medical School where he was a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honors Society. Dr. Womack pursued a residency in family medicine at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, PA, and was elected chief resident. He returned to Rutgers - Robert Wood Johnson for fellowship in sports medicine prior to being recruited as faculty. He is the program director of the Rutgers - RWJ Sports Medicine fellowship and is Chief of the Division of Sports Medicine. Currently, Dr. Womack is actively involved in the education of students, residents, and fellows.
