In July 2020, Ethan Gato joined Rutgers University as the Athletic Trainer for the Field Hockey team.
Prior to Rutgers, Ethan collaborated with other rehab professionals in the outpatient setting for eight years. Ethan also spent three years at the collegiate level: two as a Graduate Assistant ATC at the University of Wyoming and one year as an Assistant ATC at SUNY Plattsburgh. From 2007 to 2009, Ethan was the Athletic Trainer for Brearley High School in Kenilworth, NJ.

Ethan earned his Bachelors of Science in Athletic Training from the University of New Hampshire in 2007 and a Master of Science in Kinesiology and Health from the University of Wyoming in 2011.
