Fred Mangione serves as Chief Executive Officer for Scarlet Knight Enterprises. A veteran sports and entertainment executive, Mangione has a proven record of revenue growth, leadership and major market experience.
Mangione joins Scarlet Knight Enterprises with more than 30 years of experience leading professional sports organizations and major events. Throughout his career, Mangione has built an impressive resume of driving growth through ticket sales, premium seating, sponsorship development, marketing, branding and organizational transformation.
Mangione most recently served as Chief Business Officer for the NYNJ Host Committee for the FIFA World Cup, where he led all commercial business functions for the matches at MetLife Stadium, including the 2026 FIFA World Cup Final. In that role, he helped drive regional fundraising and economic development initiatives through partnerships, hospitality and ticketing strategies. Mangione also played a critical role in expanding the scope of FIFA events throughout the New York and New Jersey communities.
Prior to serving with the NYNJ Host Committee, Mangione founded M&M Sports Consulting, where he helped premier brands create, develop and execute key strategies on naming rights, organizational structure, ticket sales and corporate sponsorships. Mangione consulted several sports and entertainment properties, including the Big 12 Conference, Red Bull New York, NY Islanders, UBS Arena, FanIQ and Seat Club. He advised the Big 12 Conference through the restructuring and commercialization of its front office operations and was also instrumental in facilitating the naming rights for the Red Bull New York home venue, Sports Illustrated Stadium.
Mangione held an executive role with the New York Jets as the franchise’s Senior Vice President of Sales, Marketing & Premium Partnerships. He helped reverse declining revenue trends and generated year-over-year growth annually, elevating the organization into the NFL’s top five in revenue rankings. He also played a key role in the Jets’ award-winning rebranding efforts.
Before joining the Jets front office, Mangione spent nearly two decades with the Brooklyn Nets and Barclays Center organization, serving in executive leadership roles including Chief Operating Officer, Chief Revenue Officer and Chief Marketing Officer. He was integral in the Nets’ historic relocation to Brooklyn, the organization’s rebrand which embraced the cultural identity of its new residence and helped launch Barclays Center into one of the premier sports and entertainment venues in the country.
Known throughout the industry as a collaborative and forward-thinking executive, Mangione has consistently demonstrated an ability to align stakeholders, modernize commercial operations and create sustainable revenue engines in highly competitive environments.
Mangione is a graduate of Centenary University, earning degrees in business, management and marketing. He currently holds a seat on the institution’s Board of Trustees.
