Rutgers University Athletics

A native of Manalapan, N.J., Jake Schwinger in his second season with Rutgers baseball, where he serves as a student manager and the team's bullpen catcher. 

In his role, Schwinger performs the regular duties of a student manager while also working with the RU pitching staff as their bullpen catcher during practices and all home and away games during the season. 

Schwinger attended Manalapan High School, where he was a two-year varsity baseball player for the Braves. A sophomore in the School of Arts and Sciences, Schwinger is working towards his bachelor's degree in sport management at Rutgers.
