Jonathan Beal joined Rutgers Athletics in 2014. Beal, who has worked at the University since 2009, currently serves as Associate Director of Athletics IT – Infrastructure.

In this role, Beal manages the department’s hybrid cloud networks, servers, storage, and databases. He oversees AI development and workflows with all athletic programs and business units, and works in partnership with the Big Ten Conference to design and deploy instant replay technology.

Prior to his tenure with Rutgers Athletics, Beal worked as an IT systems administrator with Rutgers University’s Division of Continuing Studies from 2009 to 2014.

Beal graduated from NJIT with a bachelor's degree in 2010. He resides in Middlesex with his wife, Jen, and their children, Charlotte and Tyler.
