Jose Rodriguez began his career at Rutgers University in 2003 as a member of the Facilities Grounds Department. In 2007, he transferred to Rutgers Athletics, taking on the role of Grounds Technician, where he was responsible for maintaining and enhancing the university's athletic facilities and playing surfaces.
Through his dedication, leadership, and commitment to excellence, Jose was promoted to Foreman in 2021. In his current role, he oversees the day-to-day operations and management of athletic grounds, ensuring that facilities are maintained to the highest standards for student-athletes, coaches, staff, and visitors. He also coordinates and collaborates closely with vendors and contractors to support a range of athletic grounds projects and operational needs.
With more than two decades of service to Rutgers University, Jose's steady leadership and hands-on expertise continue to play a vital role in the success of Rutgers Athletics.
