Leia Haughton joined Rutgers Athletics in 2025. She currently serves as a marking assistant.
In her current role, Haughton supports various customer outreach and community engagement initiatives for the Scarlet Knights. During her time at RU, Haughton also worked with the football program as an operations assistant prior to her current position.
Prior to her arrival “On the Banks,” Haughton held various positions within the Alabama A&M University football program, which included work with the Bulldogs’ recruiting, operations and player personnel departments.
Haughton also spent two seasons as a sports administration intern with the Huntsville Havoc of the Southern Professional Hockey League, and a summer working with the Detroit Pistons in ticketing and sales.
A New Jersey native and daughter of a Rutgers University alumna, Haughton earned her bachelor’s degree in sports management from Alabama A&M University in 2023.
