Madelne Avallone joined the Rutgers Athletics staff in 2023. She serves as a Broadcast Technician for RVision.
In her role with the Scarlet Knights, she assists in the production of BTN Student U broadcasts, which live-stream over 125 events a year.
Prior to her return to Rutgers, Avallone was a freelance production assistant for branded content at Madison Square Garden Networks. She produced and edited the Emmy-nominated short film spotlighting Eric LeGrand during his time as the 2022 New Jersey Devils' Buy Black award winner and the five-part series, "Hoops Around the World," focusing on Knicks fans from around the world and their fandom.
Additionally, Avallone also worked at Sportsnet New York as a freelance producer/editor, where she assisted in the production of a documentary on Keith Hernandez and edited New York Mets highlights for digital and social platforms.
Avallone is a 2022 Rutgers graduate with bachelors degrees in journalism and media studies and psychology. During her time as a student, Avallone worked as a camera and graphics operator for RVision.
