Mary Braun '11, a Rutgers Women's Lacrosse letterwinner, returned to “the Banks” in November 2023 and currently serves as Director of Development, Major Gifts. In her position, she works closely with athletic leadership, coaches, alumni and supporters to cultivate relationships and advance the fundraising efforts of the R Fund.
Prior to joining Rutgers Athletics and Rutgers Foundation, Braun spent several years at Drexel University in athletic development positions for the Dragons. During that time, she led donor engagement initiatives, expanded alumni involvement and helped grow major gift participation to new levels of success.
Before moving into athletic development, Braun served as an assistant coach for Drexel Women’s Lacrosse, where her responsibilities included recruiting, alumnae relations, program operations and serving as the defensive coordinator.
A captain of the Rutgers Women’s Lacrosse team, she earned a bachelor’s degree from Rutgers and later completed a master’s degree in Sport Management from Drexel.
A native of Florence, N.J., Braun resides in Burlington County with her husband, Adam and their three children.
