Michael Contento joined the Rutgers Athletic Department in December of 2025, working as a Sales and Service Consultant within ticket sales. The responsibilities in his role include outreach and maintaining positive relationships with season ticket holders, group leaders, premium members, donors, and all Scarlet Knight fans.

Contento came to RU after spending three years with the New York Boulders, first as a Social Media and Promotions intern before taking on an Account Executive, Ticket Sales role for the final two years.

Hailing from the Bronx, N.Y., Contento moved to Maywood, N.J. in 2008 and is a proud New Jerseyan ever since. He spent time as a Quarterback for Bergen Catholic in High School and there was a teammate of future Scarlet Knight Johnny Langan. A graduate of Sacred Heart University, he won a Club Football National Championship there in 2017.

Outside of the office, Michael likes to spend time with family and friends, golfing, and plays baseball, softball, flag football and basketball. He is a fan of the New York Yankees, New York Jets, New York Knicks, New Jersey Devils, and the Scarlet Knights.
