Nicole Necci joined R Fund as the assistant director of athletic development in October 2018 with a focus on events and stewardship.
Necci is a former student-athlete, playing lacrosse at Lock Haven before launching a career in college athletics administration. The Jackson, New Jersey native has worked in marketing, communications and development since 2013.
Most recently, she served as the assistant director of development for athletics at La Salle in Philadelphia, cultivating and stewarding more than 75 major gift prospects and organizing more than 60 events for two years.
Necci worked as a sports information, marketing and communications graduate assistant while earning masters degrees in sport administration and sport & exercise psychology at Lock Haven from 2013-15. Following her undergraduate degree from Lock Haven in sport administration, Necci interned at the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC), specializing in marketing and communications.
She has volunteered as a lacrosse coach at La Salle, as a social media coordinator for Beagle Freedom Project, and as an events coordinator for the United Women’s Lacrosse League.
Necci is a member of the Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE), the National Association of Athletic Development Directors (NAADD), and the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA).
