Reed Zak currently serves as the General Manager of Name, Image, and Likeness through Rutgers Athletics’ partnership with Altius Sports Partners (ASP). As an ASP General Manager, Zak works with Rutgers Athletics to prioritize athlete NIL maximization and collaborate with internal and external partners to identify brand prospects and enhance existing multimedia rights partnerships. Zak delivers education on NIL and professional development topics through workshops and 1:1 guidance available for all student-athletes.
Prior to his arrival "On the Banks", Zak worked with REVELxp, a fan experience and hospitality company. With REVELxp, Zak oversaw the sales efforts for Colorado State, Air Force, and Arizona State.
Prior to his time with the REVELxp, Zak spent 2017-2021 at Providence College in two different roles. As an Athletic Marketing Graduate Assistant, he was involved in the promotional efforts for men's and women's basketball and men's and women's ice hockey. He then worked with Providence Friars Sports Properties as an account manager responsible for contract fulfillment and the implementation of sponsorships across several accounts.
A native of Wyckoff, New Jersey, Zak earned his bachelor's degree from Monmouth in business administration with a concentration in marketing and management/decision sciences. He was a four-year letterwinner in Men’s Lacrosse, serving as a SAAC representative while being named to the MAAC All-Academic team three times. He completed his MBA at Providence in 2019.
