Robert Schultz joined Rutgers Athletics in May 2017 and serves as the equipment manager for the Scarlet Knights’ volleyball and swimming and diving programs.
Schultz arrived on the Banks following a stint as the Assistant Director of Equipment Operations at Stony Brook University and as the head equipment manager at his alma mater, William Paterson University.
Throughout his career, he has been responsible for maintaining and organizing athletic equipment, managing inventory, fitting and safety checks. He has also administered purchasing duties through multiple portals, as well as overseeing inventory software through PeopleSoft and ACS Athletics.
He has been certified by the Athletic Equipment Managers Association since 2013. Schultz earned a bachelor degree in history from William Paterson before completing his master of sports administration from Fairleigh Dickinson University in 2014.
Schultz currently resides in Rutherford, N.J.
