Sean LeBeauf

Sean LeBeauf comes "On The Banks" for his first season in 2025-26 after spending the previous four seasons at UC Riverside as an assistant coach. There he helped the Highlanders to 55 wins including 38 victories in Big West play. He helped the team advance to the Big West Tournament Championship in 2024 and onto the WNIT.  

Prior to his time with UC Riverside, he spent one season as an associate head coach at Northern Colorado where he helped the Bears finish in the top four in the Big Sky Conference, reach the semifinals of the conference tournament, while also coaching the Conference Player of the Year, Alisha Davis. 

LeBeauf joined the UNC staff after two years as Assistant Coach and Recruiting Coordinator at Prairie View A&M University, where after his first year the team qualified for the Women’s National Invitation Tournament, WNIT. He also got to see one of his players, Artavia Ford, sign a professional contract to play overseas.  

Prior to coaching at Prairie View A&M, he was an assistant coach at the University of Arizona for three seasons. While at Arizona, LeBeauf helped secure a Top 25 recruiting class and coach one of the most prolific scorers in program history, Candice Warthen. He also saw eight players, including Warthen, sign professional contracts.  

LeBeauf came to Arizona from Paris Junior College (PJC), where he served as Athletic Director and Head Women's Coach. At PJC, he led the Dragons to the single season record for wins and a national ranking. He coached an NJCAA All-American nominee, four All-Region XIV selections, five Honorable Mention All-Conference selections and two Freshman of the Year nominees. 

Before his four-year stint at PJC, LeBeauf served as men's assistant coach at Southern University. While there, the men's team won the SWAC Conference championship, the HBCU National Championship and participated in the NCAA Tournament. He has had other stops as a men's basketball coach at Centenary College and Paris Junior College. 

Through his men's basketball experience, he has coached 23 players into the professional ranks.  

LeBeauf is a graduate of the University of Montevallo where he earned his Bachelors of Business Administration in Accounting. He was a starter and captain on a team that finished with three consecutive 20-win seasons.
