Stephanie Lombardo started “On the Banks” in October 2019 and serves as the Executive Assistant to Vice President & Chief Development Officer Maggie Long. Lombardo also spearheads the Class of ’56 Scarlet Brick Walk campaign and manages an annual leadership giving portfolio.
Prior to joining the R Fund, she served as an office assistant at Wirz & Associates, a small baseball consulting firm based in Stratford, Conn. During her tenure there, she assisted in Independent League Baseball research, pace-of-play tracking and a PowerPoint presentation for Mr. Wirz’s book talk at the Baseball Hall of Fame. Lombardo held stints with Octagon, a global agency in sports, entertainment and culture and NBCUniversal Media where she won the GEM award for outstanding work ethic and going the extra mile. During her undergraduate summers, she interned with the Somerset Patriots and New Jersey Jackals.
Lombardo earned her Bachelor of Science in Sport Management at the University of New Haven in 2016. She was a member of the Freehold Borough High School softball team from 2008-2012. Lombardo was born in New Brunswick, N.J. (St. Peter’s Hospital) and currently resides in Metuchen, N.J. She loves spending time with her niece and three nephews.
