TEAM NOTES
- Rutgers and Michigan met for the fourth time, with the Wolverines leading the series, 3-1. RU (1,333) has played the most game in college football history, while UM is third at 1,313.
- The attendance of 111,213 marked the largest crowd to ever witness a Rutgers football game. The previous record was 109,879 at Michigan in 2015.
- Rutgers did not commit a turnover for the second-straight week. The last time the Scarlet Knights went consecutive games without a turnover was a stretch of three contests in 2009 (FIU, at Maryland, Texas Southern). It was the fourth game under head coach Chris Ash without a turnover.
- Jawuan Harris picked off a pass in the first quarter for Rutgers' 10th interception of the season. The Scarlet Knights entered the week ranked tied for second in the Big Ten in interceptions after totaling eight in 2016. In addition, RU has had an interception in three-straight games and in five of the last six.
- Rutgers picked up two rushing touchdowns to bring the season mark to 17 after having eight last season.

- P Ryan Anderson
- Punted eight times with four punts of at least 50 yards and long of 61 yards.
- DB Zane Campbell
- Forced a fumble for the first time as a Scarlet Knight on punt coverage in the third quarter.
- RB Gus Edwards
- Scored his team-leading sixth rushing touchdown on a two-yard run in the third quarter.
- Has scored at least once in each of the last three games and owns 18 collegiate rushing touchdowns.
- WR Janarion Grant
- Recorded a 65-yard rushing touchdown in the second quarter for his 16th career score (fourth rushing). He also scored at Michigan Stadium in 2015 on a 98-yard kickoff return.
- It was his career-long rushing attempt, topping a 58-yard run versus Howard in 2015.
- Passed Brian Leonard (2003-06) for third place in Rutgers career all-purpose yards on an eight-yard rush in the fourth quarter. Finished the game with 137 yards to up his career total to 4,757.
- Now has 98 career plays gaining at least 20 yards.
- DB Jawuan Harris
- Recorded second career interception in the first quarter. Also picked off a pass at Illinois.
- Had 10 tackles to reach double digits for the second time in three games.
- DB Damon Hayes
- Matched career high with 10 tackles, also done at Michigan State in 2016.
- LB Deonte Roberts
- Registered a game-best 12 tackles to lead or tie the team high for the seventh time in his career.
- TE Jerome Washington
- Hauled in a 30-yard pass, his longest career reception.
- DB Isaiah Wharton
- Recorded a career-high eight tackles.
- DL Kevin Wilkins
- Recorded a career-high 2.0 tackles-for-loss and now has a team-best 5.0 for the season.
