Cuda Named to Academic All-District Team

Cuda, a senior back for the Scarlet Knights, has started 15 of RU’s 19 matches this season, helping the Knights post eight shutouts while compiling a 1.24 goals-against average. A biological sciences major, she owns a 3.793 grade point average and plans to attend veterinary school.
Student-athletes must have at least a 3.2 grade point average, be at least a sophomore academically, and must be a starter or key reserve in order to be eligible for academic all-district honors. Voting is conducted by members of the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA). District II comprises schools from Delaware, the District of Columbia, Maryland, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and West Virginia.
Rutgers (10-7-2) will take on No. 8 West Virginia (16-1-1) in the BIG EAST Tournament semifinals Friday, Nov. 8, at 7:00 p.m. in Storrs, CT.
