STORRS, CT – The Rutgers volleyball team (13-8,
  1-4 BIG EAST) dropped a 3-0 (24-30, 28-30 and 16-30) decision to Connecticut
(14-6, 4-0 BIG EAST) on Sunday, Oct. 24.
The Scarlet Knights were led on offense by senior Dawn Christjaener (Huntington
  Beach, CA) with 12 kills and junior Ashleigh Young (Albany, OR) with 11. Senior
  Abbey Martin (Topeka, KS) led the team with 25 assists, while Christjaener,
  along with sophomore Lora Yankauskas (Paramus, NJ) and junior Courtney Stout
  (San Marcos, CA) registered eight digs to pace the team on defense.
Rutgers will travel to Jamaica, NY on Friday, Oct. 29, for the final match
of its four-match road streak against St. John’s at 7:00 p.m.
