Yankauskas Named All-BIG EAST Honorable Mention

PISCATAWAY, NJ - Rutgers sophomore outside hitter Lora Yankauskas (Paramus, NJ) was named an honorable mention All-BIG EAST selection, the conference office announced.

On the final BIG EAST leader board, Yankauskas finished the season ranked fifth in kills per game with 3.86. She also led the Scarlet Knights in kills and was third in digs per game with 1.72.

Yankauskas was named BIG EAST Player of the Week on Nov. 8 for her performances against first-place Pittsburgh and West Virginia, respectively. Yankauskas led the Scarlet Knights to victories against the Panthers and Mountaineers, averaging 4.75 kills and 1.38 blocks per game.

The Scarlet Knights finished the season 16-10 overall and 4-6 in the BIG EAST.
