RU Women's Tennis Falls to Boston University, 5-2

BOSTON, MA - Regionally-ranked Boston University won all three doubles match en route to a 5-2 victory over Rutgers (1-1, 1-0 BIG EAST) on Sunday in Boston, MA.
Rutgers was able to pick up victories at first and second singles as freshman Katrina Elder-Bush (Boston, MA) defeated Laura Ahmes, 2-6, 6-3, 1-2 (retired) and Jill Markowitz (Forest Hills, NY) topped Erin Katims when Katims retired in the first set.
In doubles action, Elder-Bush and fellow freshman Anela Dujsic (Mississauga, Ontario) lost a close 8-4 decision to Katims and Ahmes.
Rutgers returns to action on Friday, Feb. 11, when it travels to Bethlehem, PA, to face Leigh at 3:00 p.m.
