Crooks Earns 100th Career Victory

PISCATAWAY, NJ – Rutgers women’s soccer head coach Glenn Crooks earned his 100th career victory Sept. 20 when his Scarlet Knights defeated Loyola (MD) 1-0 in overtime at Yurcak Field.
Crooks, in his 13th season as a head coach, owns a 100-101-20 (.498) overall record, and a 55-46-11 (.540) mark in his sixth season “On the Banks.”
The Scarlet Knights (3-4) triumphed in the 93rd minute against the Greyhounds, when freshman Courtney Roarty (Edison, NJ) knocked in Kristen Edmond’s (Metuchen, NJ) rebound 2:01 into the overtime period.
Rutgers (0-1 BIG EAST) will resume conference play Friday, Sept. 23, when the Scarlet Knights host Georgetown at 7:00 p.m.
