PISCATAWAY, N.J. - The Rutgers women's basketball team plays host for the second time in the past four days, entertaining Ole Miss on Tuesday, December 12 at 7:30 p.m. at the Louis Brown Athletic Center. This is the fourth meeting between the two programs with Ole Miss holding a 2-1 advantage. The first meeting took place on Dec. 29, 1983 at the La Salle Holiday Tournament and a 70-59 Lady Rebels win. Rutgers posted a 65-50 triumph on Nov. 16, 2003 in the second round of the 2003 Preseason WNIT. And last season, Ole Miss downed the Scarlet Knights, 67-57, handing RU its first loss of the season.
The Lady Rebels are 7-2 this season with a pair of consecutive wins over Big 10 opponents. They defeated Penn State on Sunday at home, 65-48. Rutgers faced the Lady Lions in the Virgin Islands, posting a 57-44 win.
