Harris Named Pre-Season All-American

PISCATAWAY, NJ - Rutgers senior tight end Clark Harris has been named to Lindy's Football Annual pre-season All-America first team.
Harris was a key weapon for Rutgers in 2005, as he helped lead the Scarlet Knights to a 7-4 regular season mark, a third place finish in the BIG EAST, and a berth in the Insight Bowl. Harris, who hauled in 38 passes for 584 yards, led all BIG EAST tight ends in receptions per game (3.17) and receiving yards per game (48.7) in 2005.
The 6-foot-6, 255-pound Harris, of Manahawkin, is a two-time All-BIG EAST first team selection and enters the 2006 campaign with 109 career receptions for 1,523 yards and nine TDs. He also carries a 30-game consecutive reception streak into 2006.
