PISCATAWAY, NJ - Thirteen home games, and 16 NCAA Tournament qualifiers from a year ago, highlight the 2006-2007 Rutgers women's basketball schedule.
Rutgers posted a 27-5 overall record during the 2005-2006 season, advancing to the regional semifinals of the 2006 NCAA Tournament and finishing ninth in both final national polls. The Scarlet Knights notched a perfect 16-0 mark in BIG EAST Conference regular-season play to win their second straight outright BIG EAST regular-season crown.
Game times and television broadcast information will be released at a later date. All game dates are subject to change. Rutgers may also add an additional non-conference game to the announced schedule.
Following a home exhibition game against the Houston Jaguars AAU team Saturday, Nov. 4, the Scarlet Knights will officially begin the 2006-2007 campaign in Norman, Okla., against Georgia at the State Farm Tipoff Classic Sunday, Nov. 12.
