Lewis Tabbed to BIG EAST Field Hockey Honor Roll

PISCATAWAY, N.J.- Junior Amy Lewis (Hainesport, N.J.) was named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll, the league office announced on Monday.

Lewis registered seven points on two goals and an assist in a week which saw the Scarlet Knights post two wins.  The junior scored the tying goal in a come-from-behind 2-1 triumph over Saint Joseph's on Friday. In addition, she assisted on the game-winning goal by classmate Karen Brewster.

Lewis scored both goals in a 2-0 Rutgers victory over Brown on Sunday afternoon.  The New Jersey product leads the team and the BIG EAST with 31 points and 14 goals. She has twice been named to the league's weekly honor roll and earned the Player of the Week on one occasion.
