Rutgers Hosts DePaul, Notre Dame in Regular Season Finale

PISCATAWAY, N.J. - The Rutgers women's soccer team, currently 8-7-2 and 3-4-2 in the BIG EAST, will finish its season with two games at home against conference opponents. On Friday, Oct. 26, RU will face DePaul before taking on No. 22 Notre Dame on Sunday, Oct. 28.
The Scarlet Knights are currently in fourth-place in the National Division, four points behind third-place Georgetown. The Hoyas face Cincinnati on Friday and Louisville on Sunday. The top five teams from each division reach the BIG EAST Tournament.
DePaul has struggled under first-year head coach Erin Chastain, going 5-11-1 and 2-7-0 in conference play. The Blue Demons have been led by Shannon Williams, who has seven goals and two assists on the season. Notre Dame is undefeated in BIG EAST play at 9-0 and they are 11-4-1 overall. The Fighting Irish defeated the Scarlet Knights 4-2 in last season's BIG EAST Championship game.
Both games will be played at Yurcak Field. The DePaul game starts at 7 p.m. on Friday while Rutgers and Notre Dame will square off at 1 p.m. on Sunday.
