PRINCETON, N.J. - Alicia Hall (Port Republic, N.J.) scored her second goal of the season and Jenifer Anzivino (Middletown, N.J.) picked up her second assist, but it wasn't enough as the Rutgers women's soccer team fell to Princeton 5-1 on Tuesday night.
The Scarlet Knights (6-4-1, 1-1-1) went into half-time tied at one with the Tigers (4-4-1, 1-0-0), but four goals in a five minute span in the second half enabled Princeton to win its fourth straight. Goalie Erin Guthrie (Sparta, N.J.) had six saves in the loss.
Rutgers returns to BIG EAST play when they travel to Storrs, Ct. to face the UConn Huskies on Friday, Oct. 5, at 7:00 p.m.
