Rutgers Women's Basketball Releases Television Schedule

PISCATAWAY, N.J. - The Rutgers women's basketball team will make 12 national/regional appearances during the 2007-08 regular season. Additions to the broadcast schedule may be announced at a later date.
The Scarlet Knights, a 2007 NCAA Championship Finalist, will officially begin their season on Sunday, Nov. 11, against Stanford on ESPN2. The contest, with a 7:00 p.m. tip, officially kicks off the BIG EAST Conference's expanded ESPN2 slate.
Three of RU's first four games of the season will be televised, including a Nov. 18 game at George Washington (8:00 p.m./ESPNU) and a Nov. 25 rematch with LSU at the Louis Brown Athletic Center (2:00 p.m/ESPN2).
Rutgers will make its first appearance of the year on College Sports Television (CSTV) with a contest at Marquette on Jan. 8. There are three CSTV broadcast games on the schedule, two of those to be aired from the RAC (Connecticut and Notre Dame). Seven of the 12 games to be broadcast are home contests for the Scarlet Knights.
