Rutgers' Student-Athletes Earn Post Season Field Hockey Honors

PISCATAWAY, N.J. - Rutgers junior Amy Lewis (Hainesport, N.J.) and senior Corinne Bach (Moorestown, N.J.) were named to the Mid-Atlantic Region squad, it was announced by the National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) this week.
Lewis, who earned first team all-region honors, paced the BIG EAST with 20 goals and 44 points this past fall. In addition, the midfielder was first among league leaders with six game-winning goals. Lewis, a three-time all-BIG EAST honoree, is ranked third in the RU record book in both goals (47) and points (103).
Bach concluded her collegiate career having earned a spot in the all Mid-Atlantic second team. The midfielder etched her name in the Scarlet Knights' record book this fall, becoming the all-time assist leader. She tallied 11 assists this season raising her career total to 37. Bach was also second-team All-BIG EAST selection.
Rutgers concluded the regular season with an 8-11 mark, recording the most program wins since 2000.
