Lewis Earns BIG EAST Field Hockey Postseason Honors

PISCATAWAY, N.J. - Rutgers junior Amy Lewis (Hainesport, N.J.) was selected to the BIG EAST First Team, it was announced by the league office on Friday evening. It marks the second straight season Lewis was named to the league's first team.
Lewis paced the conference with 20 goals and 44 points this past fall. In addition, the midfielder was first among league leaders with six game-winning goals.
In the RU record book, Lewis is ranked third in both goals with 47 and points with 103.
Lewis is a three-time BIG EAST honoree, having been selected a postseason team the past three seasons. Rutgers concluded the regular season with an 8-11 mark, recording the most program wins since 2000.
