NEWARK, Del. - The Rutgers field hockey team dropped a 4-0 decision at Delaware this afternoon at Rullo Stadium.
The loss as the second straight for the Scarlet Knights (3-2). Junior Amy Lewis posted two shots for RU, one of those the only shot on goal.
Tori Karsten led the Hens with two goals, including the game-winner in the 22nd minute.
Delaware outshot Rutgers, 12-4, and held a 7-1 advantage in penalty corners.
The Scarlet Knights return home to RU Stadium Complex on Sunday, September 9 to entertain Towson at 12:00 p.m.
