Amy Lewis Named BIG EAST Offensive Player of the Year

Lewis finished second in the league in goals (24) and third in points per game (2.80). She was second among BIG EAST leaders in game-winning goals with six to her credit. Lewis concluded the season ranked third in the country in goals per game, averaging 1.20 per game.
The New Jersey product was tabbed to the All-BIG EAST postseason squad for the fourth time in her stellar collegiate career. Lewis became the all-time Rutgers program leader in both goals in points this past season. She scored 71 goals and 14 assists over her career.
Bull led the Scarlet Knights in assists in 2008, recording 10 on the season. She also tallied four goals to register a total 18 points.
Rutgers finished the season with a 14-6 record, the most wins for the program since 1997 (14-7) and just one win off the program-best of 15 wins (1984). In addition, the six losses were the fewest for an RU team since 1986 (14-6-2).
