Stringer and Summitt Appear Together in Knoxville

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. - Rutgers head coach C. Vivian Stringer and Tennessee head coach  Pat Summitt made a joint appearance on Sunday at the Women's Basketball Hall of Fame in Knoxville.

C. Vivian Stringer and Tennessee head coach  Pat Summitt jumpstarted the Women's Basketball Hall of Fame's Basketball Collection event called "Get Kids in the Game."

The Hall of Fame coaches jumpstarted the Women's Basketball Hall of Fame's Basketball Collection event called "Get Kids in the Game." Anyone who donated a basketball - either new or gently used - to the initiative was able to get an autograph from the esteemed coaches.

World Vision will distribute to balls to children that do not have access to recreational equipment around the world. Each person who donated a basketball received a special $4.00 admission rate to Hall of Fame.

The Rutgers women's squad toured the hall, catching a glimpse of the Scarlet Knights' Final Four display among other sights.
