Scarlet Knights Announce Summer Camps

PISCATAWAY, N.J. - Rutgers Volleyball, under the guidance of Jeff "CJ" Werneke who's in his first season as the Scarlet Knights' head coach, announces its 2008 summer camp schedule. This year's camps, running August 3-6, will be an overnight program ran at the College Avenue Gym in association with Nike.
The camp is open to females ranging from 10-18 years of age. There will be an all skills camp open to players of all skill levels and an advanced camp available for girls who have played both club and high school varsity volleyball. In both programs, players will master the fundamentals, develop proper mechanics and gain valuable game play experience. Every aspect of the game is covered, giving you a solid skill foundation to build upon after camp. Players will undergo a skill evaluation during the first camp session and are placed in groups according to ability level.
