Schacher broke away from the pack in the 49thminute, earning a one-on-one with SU netminder Brittany Anghel, but sent the shot wide. In the 28thminute, the co-captain notched another opportunity, but Anghel grabbed the save.
Redshirt junior Tricia DiPaolo (Sparta, N.J.) also rocketed off two shots on the night, including one in the 87thminute that was grabbed by Anghel. DiPaolo sent her first shot high in the 56thminute.
