PISCATAWAY, N.J. (April 10, 2010) – Despite hitting a season-high four home runs in two games, the Rutgers softball team (12-21, 0-4) dropped two contests to Connecticut (16-18, 4-4) Saturday by scores of 4-2 and 8-6. Sophomore Brittney Lindley (Cicero, N.Y.) jacked three round trippers over the two game span, hitting at a .429 clip and moving into a tie for third on the RU single season home run list with seven.
“We are improving every game,” said head coach Jay Nelson. “We just have to find a way to put together our bats with our pitching.”
