Rutgers Women's Basketball Versus Tennessee Moved To ESPN

PISCATAWAY, N.J. (November 22, 2011) - The Rutgers women's basketball game against Tennessee on Tuesday, Dec. 13, has been added to the ESPN lineup, it was announced. The contest, which was previously scheduled to broadcast on ESPNU, will tipoff at 7 p.m.
Rutgers versus Tennessee features two of the all-time winningest coaches in women's basketball history as Pat Summit and C. Vivian Stringer lead all active coaches in wins with over 1,900 combined victories. The two teams have faced each other for 10 consecutive seasons and will meet for the 21st time in 2011-12. The Lady Vols lead the all-time series 17-3, including winning the past seven matchups.
The Scarlet Knights will be featured on the ESPN family of networks for three games this season. Rutgers against Georgetown (Jan. 29) will be show on ESPNU, while RU's home game versus St. John's will be featured on ESPN2.
