Rutgers Women's Soccer Earns NSCAA College Team Academic Award

PISCATAWAY, N.J. (November 20, 2012) - Rutgers women's soccer was named a recipient of the 2012 NSCAA College Team Academic Award, the organization announced on Tuesday. The Scarlet Knights were one of 504 women's teams honored, while Rutgers was one of 152 schools to have both its men's and women's programs recognized.
To receive the NSCAA Team Academic Award, the squad must have compiled a team grade point average of 3.0 or higher. The Scarlet Knights posted a 3.19 team GPA for the 2011-12 academic year.
