
David Greczek Named AAC Goalkeeper of the Week

PISCATAWAY, N.J. (October 21, 2013) - Rutgers freshman David Greczek (Fairfield, N.J.) was named the American Athletic Conference (AAC) Goalkeeper of the Week after two strong performances last week it was announced on Monday by the conference office.
Playing a total of 211 minutes during two games, Greczek totaled 15 saves. After keeping the game scoreless into double overtime against Bucknell, Greczek followed that performance with 11 saves, not only a career-mark, but the best single-game mark in the conference this season, en route to a 0-0 draw with USF.
Greczek leads The American with 74 saves, and sits in the top ten with four shutouts, 1.25 goals against average, and a .796 save percentage.
The Rutgers men's soccer team is in the final stretch of the regular season with two games remaining. RU hosts Temple on Wednesday Oct. 23 in the home regular season finale at 7 p.m. at Yurcak Field and closes out 2013 regular season slate at UCF in Orlando, Fla. on Saturday, Nov. 2.
