
RU Women Earn NSCAA Academic Team Award

PISCATAWAY, N.J. (Nov. 21, 2013) - The Rutgers women's soccer team was recognized as a 2012-13 College Women's Team Academic Award winner by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA), the organization announced Thursday.
It was the third consecutive year (2013, 2012, 2011) that the program has been recognized for its academics by the NSCAA and fifth time in head coach Glenn Crooks' tenure "On the Banks."
RU boasted a cumulative team GPA of 3.18, as the team recognition is given only to clubs who record a minimum of a 3.00.
The Scarlet Knights posted a 13-4-5 record this season, earning their third NCAA Tournament at-large bid in the last five years.
