WSOC Receives NSCAA Academic Award

PISCATAWAY, N.J. - The Rutgers women's soccer team was named a College Women's Team Academic Award winner by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) Monday.
The Scarlet Knights (13-6-1, 8-4-0 Big Ten), who wrapped up their first season in the Big Ten Conference with a fifth NCAA Tournament bid in seven seasons, received the honor for the fourth consecutive season.
To qualify for the award, a team must have a minimum grade point average of 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale).To view the list of intercollegiate institutions that received the award since its institution in 1996, click here.
