STREAKING
ACTIVE WIN STREAKS:
Laney averaged 12.0 points and 14.5 rebounds in Rutgers' 2-0 week with wins over Northeastern and LSU. She has registered a double-double in all three Scarlet Knight games to date and has 18 double-doubles in her career.
Against Northeastern in a 74-60 win, Laney was one of five Scarlet Knights in double figures and one of two players with a double-double. She shot 54.5 percent (6-of-11) from the floor for 14 points along with 13 rebounds.
In RU's first road game of the season, Laney had 10 points along with a career-high 16 rebounds in a 64-57 victory at LSU. Her 16 rebounds against the Tigers set a new career mark surpassing her previous career-high of 15 against Houston on Jan. 4, 2014. That was also the last time a Scarlet Knight had 15 or more rebounds in a game.
On the year, Laney is averaging 14.0 points and 13.3 rebounds per game.
She opened her sophomore season with a game-high 23 points in RU's 76-52 win over St. Joseph's. With her 23 points against the Hawks, Scaife had her eighth 20+ point game of her career and 29th double digit scoring effort. Scaife shot 9-of-13 from the floor, including a perfect 6-of-6 in the second half, and 5-of-6 from the free throw line.
Scaife also led the Scarlet Knights with 15 points in the win over Northeastern and a game-high 16 points in RU's first road win of the year at LSU last Saturday.
FROM SIXTH WOMAN TO STARTING LINEUP
Canty captured her second career double-double with 12 points and a new career-high 10 assists in the win over Northeastern on Nov. 18. It was the second straight game the redshirt junior guard had reset her career mark in assists. She performed her first double-double with 12 points and 12 rebounds in RU's WNIT semifinal win at USF.
In the season opener against St. Joseph's Canty tied her career-high in points (16) and also added a then career-high eight assists. The redshirt junior guard also captured 16 points in the Scarlet Knights' American Athletic Conference semifinal appearance against eventual national champion, UConn.
Canty has reached double figure scoring in six of her last seven games dating back to last season.
Most recently, Canty set a new career-high in steals with six at Wagner on Nov. 25. She surpassed her previous-high of four last recorded at Bowling
Green in the WNIT on March 31, 2014.
Laney's 2014-15 Double-Doubles
Laney currently has 19 double-doubles in her career.
The senior forward led RU in scoring on Tuesday night at Wagner with 22 points, leading the Scarlet Knights in scoring after Tyler Scaife served as Rutgers' leading scorer in the first three games of the season. She was two points shy of her career-high in scoring. Laney has reached registered 24 points twice in her career, most recently in RU's win against Temple on Jan. 25, 2014.
Her 16 rebounds in the 65-57 win at LSU last Saturday, were the most by a Scarlet Knight since Laney hauled in 15 in RU's win over Houston on Jan. 4, 2014.
The Clayton, Delaware native captured 15 double-doubles last season, the most double figure scoring and rebounding games since Kia Vaughn, currently with the WNBA's Washington Mystics, had 12 double-doubles during the 2006-07 season.
Last time two Scarlet Knights captured 20 or more points was in RU's WNIT win over Seton Hall on March, 27, 2014 with Tyler Scaife scoring a career-high 29 points and Copper netting 27.
WNIT MVP Kahleah Copper reached the 20+ point milestone 11 times last season, the most since Brittany Ray did so seven times in 2009-10.
Rutgers last had five Scarlet Knights in double figures in its win over Wagner on Dec. 20, 2013.

MORE THAN SCORING
Scaife also hauled in seven boards and dished the ball out six times in Rutgers' loss at Memphis on Jan. 14, 2014.
BLOCK PARTY
Hollivay has registered 25 games with three or more blocks.
She currently has 161 career blocks and needs 17 more blocks to move into fifth all-time on RU's career blocked shots list.
Hollivay ended last year with 127 rejections and is third (men or women) in blocks in a single season. Only Hamady Ndiaye (2009-10) and Roy Hinson (1982-83) on the men's side have blocked more shots in a single season, swatting away 145 and 144, respectively.
RU is averaging 39.5 points in the paint through its first four games of 2014-15, which included a season-high 50 in Tuesday's win at Wagner. It was the Scarlet Knights highest total inside since netting 52 paint points in last year's win over the Seahawks on Dec. 13, 2013, as well as against UCF on Feb. 15, 2014.
PAINT POINTS
The squad's 15 home wins in 2013-14 season tied for the most wins at the RAC under the 19-year tenure of C. Vivian Stringer. The Scarlet Knights also went 15-3 at home in the 1998-99 season.

Carole Harris is the lone Red Raider averaging double digits at 16.0 points per game along with a team-leading 6.0 rebounds per game. She had a team-leading 14 points, going 6-of-13 from the field, against Georgia.
STREAKING
After Stanford halted Connecticut's win streak at 47 with a 88-86 win last Monday night, Rutgers took over as has having the nation's longest active win streak.
Illinois-Chicago, who held the second longest active win streak with seven straight wins dating back to its WBI Championship run last season, had their win streak halted on Wednesday night with a 60-41 loss at Northwestern.

Betnijah Laney was named to the Big Ten Women's Basketball Honor Roll, it was announced on Monday by the conference office.
